Partaking in the St. Paddy’s Day celebrations? Not a fan of the lovely the “black stuff”? Try some of these St. Patrick’s Day inspired drinks.
60 ml Coffee Liqueur like Kahlua, chilled
60 ml Bailey’s Irish Liqueur, chilled
- Fill a shot glass 2/3 full with coffee liqueur.
- Pour Bailey’s over the back of a spoon, down the inside of the glass. It should layer on top of the Kahlua and form the ‘head’ that make it look like Guinness. (Creative Culinary).
60 ml Vodka
45 ml Sour Apple Liqueur
1 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
Fill a shaker three-fourths full with ice. Add the vodka, apple liqueur and lemon juice. Cover and shake for 10-15 seconds or until condensation forms on outside of shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish as desired.
45 ml Jameson Irish Whiskey
30 ml Brown sugar syrup (one part brown sugar, one part water)
Hot brewed coffee
Unsweetened cream, lightly whipped
Add the whiskey and syrup to an Irish Coffee glass and fill two-thirds of the way with coffee. Top with one inch of whipped cream.
30 ml Tequila
22 ml Bols Blue Curacao Liqueur
38 ml Orange Juice, freshly squeezed
30 ml Pineapple Juice
15 ml Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed

And of course you can just add some green food colouring to any of your favourite cocktails.
Happy Paddy’s Day!!
